On 5th February 2010, the Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) commissioned PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP of the United Kingdom to undertake a Cost of Service Study for the ICT sector in Zambia. This study was aimed at assessing competition in telecoms industry in Zambia and associated policy recommendations, as well as service cost modelling and legal and regulatory due diligence with respect to the ICT Act.
